Course Introduction

Section 29A requires any employer with five or more employees (mean more than 4 employees) to appoint an OSH coordinator

It is compulsory for all SME companies with more than 4 employees to have an OSH Coordinator, as it is essential for ensuring safety and well-being, providing adequate knowledge on safety measures to staff, strategizing company policies based on current situations, and highlighting the shared responsibility of both employers and employees in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.

Course Objective: Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Coordinator

Develop a thorough understanding of the purpose, objectives, and importance of the OSH Coordinator’s role within an organization.
Gain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the OSH Coordinator role and master the skills needed to perform duties effectively.
Promote and establish a strong safety culture in the workplace while ensuring compliance with OSH regulations.
Learn essential skills for managing and maintaining Occupational Safety and Health documentation efficiently.

Certification Validity

OSH Coordinator Program Certification of Attendance
Participants who complete and pass the course will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance. Although the certificate has no expiry date, skills and knowledge may decline without regular practice. As such, we highly recommend attending refresher training annually to ensure continued competence and effectiveness.
